I'm a freelance consultant specialising in e-learning resource management and sharing, with a particular interest in metadata, controlled vocabularies, repositories, and the use of Web 2.0 tools for sharing of materials and practice, and for community development.
I moved to Scotland from New Zealand in 1997, a librarian with masses of experience in cataloguing and arts librarianship and reference work. In Scotland I quickly moved into museum librarianship, then digital libraries and e-resources for arts higher education.
I have been involved in research, development and delivery related to metadata, repositories and content in e-learning since 1999.
